1. What material is the DropShelf helmet holder made from?
DropShelf helmet holders are handcrafted using Grade-A solid teak wood. We do not use MDF, plywood, particle board, or plastic materials. Teak wood is naturally durable, humidity-resistant, and designed to last for years, making it ideal for Indian weather conditions and daily use.
2. Can this helmet holder support heavy helmets?
Yes. The wall mount is designed to safely hold helmets along with daily riding essentials like keys, gloves, locks, and chargers. The total supported load capacity is approximately 12kg when installed properly using the provided mounting hardware.
3. Is installation difficult?
Not at all. The installation process takes around 60 seconds for most users. The package includes mounting screws and wall plugs, and you only need basic tools to install it securely on your wall.
4. Does it work for all motorcycle helmets?
Yes. The holder is compatible with most motorcycle and scooter helmets including full-face, half-face, modular, and open-face helmets. Riders across India use it with brands like Royal Enfield, Vega, Steelbird, Axor, and SMK helmets.
5. Will the wood get damaged in humid weather?
Teak wood is naturally resistant to humidity and moisture compared to MDF or engineered wood products. That’s one of the main reasons we chose premium teak wood for DropShelf products. It performs well in Indian climates and develops a richer finish over time.
6. What are the brass hooks used for?
The rotating brass hooks are designed for storing riding essentials like keys, gloves, bike locks, chargers, lanyards, masks, and small accessories. They rotate smoothly for easier access and help keep your entryway organized.
7. Is this suitable for apartments and small rooms?
Absolutely. The compact wall-mounted design saves floor space and works perfectly in apartments, entryways, garages, bedrooms, and studio setups. It helps reduce clutter while adding a premium minimal look to your space.
8. Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes. We offer Cash on Delivery across most serviceable locations in India. You can also pay securely using UPI, debit cards, credit cards, wallets, and net banking during checkout.
9. How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 24–48 hours. Delivery timelines usually range between 3–7 business days depending on your location in India. Tracking updates are shared after dispatch.
10. What if I receive a damaged product?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to provide a replacement or suitable resolution based on the situation.
